Church Center is a mobile app and web app from Planning Center that gives you simple, convenient access to your information, our online directory and everything that’s going on at Journey Church. Using Church Center, you can see updates and contact info for your community group, register for events, view the latest sermons, manage your giving, view the online directory and make sure your contact information is up to date. The app requires you to login to view your own information or information for your groups, so you can be sure that your personal data is protected!
Get Started
1. Download the app
The app is available for iOS and Android using the links below. We recommend using the mobile app because it’s so easy to use and gives you access on the go, but you can also go to the Church Center web app. The features are the same in the mobile and web apps.
2. Log in
(on Mobile)
You’ll only have to do these steps the first time you open the app!
- Search for “Mile Straight Baptist Church” (if you’re not in the Chattanooga area, you might need to add “Chattanooga, TN” in the location search bar below the church name search)
- Select Mile Straight Baptist Church, confirm by tapping This is my church
- Tap Next to agree to the terms of service and privacy policy

When you’ve opened Church Center in your browser, select Log in at the top right corner of the page.
Next, you’ll be prompted to enter your phone number (or email if you prefer). Enter the six-digit code you receive back via text (or email if you chose that option). If you are already have a profile in Planning Center (from serving, being in a community group, registering for an event, filling out a connect card, or giving to MSBC online), you’ll be asked to verify your name. If you don’t already have a profile, you can create one at this point by adding your name and email!
Get Connected
Once you downloaded or opened the app and logged in, you’ll be able to take advantage of all sorts of features. Here are some of the most commonly used sections:
Home
The main Home tab holds important information about our church as well as links to our Connect Card and Facebook page. You can also find links to our social media accounts and church contact info here!
Profile
When you’re logged in, you can tap/click on your profile icon in the top right corner to verify and update your contact information. In this profile view, you can also view your groups and giving information. If you don’t already have a profile photo, feel free to upload one!
Online Directory
Choose to whether or not to be part of our Online Directory to start getting to know people at Journey. If you decide to join the directory, you may choose which information about your family is visible and which is not. Your profile information is only visible to other members of MSBC who also have set up an account and is never shared by MSBC to outside third parties. This is a great tool to start getting to know others at Mile Straight!
Groups
Use the Groups tab to see information for your community group or other groups at Journey. You can view upcoming group meeting times, any resources shared with your group or with all groups, and find contact information for other group members. Note, your personal information is not visible to people outside of your group, and you can control how much information you share.
Events
The Events tab lets you see upcoming events at MSBC and register yourself and other members of your household (if applicable).
Giving
Church Center makes mobile giving simple and convenient. In the Giving tab, quickly set up one-time and recurring donations and even opt to cover the processing fees (which is much appreciated!). In your profile, you can manage your saved cards or bank account and make updates to your recurring donations.
