Mile Straight Baptist Church was founded with a strong commitment to missions. We have firsthand experience with the strength that results when Christians step out in order to advance God's kingdom. This is the reason we actively participate in our local area and the wider world by helping others and spreading the gospel. Everyone has a part to play in missions and we would love for you to join us!

Frequently asked questions

  • Our purpose is to bring glory to God by making disciples of Jesus Christ both here (locally) and around the world (globally). We want the name of Christ exalted.

  • Through their Small Group / Sunday School sessions, Mile Straight Baptist sponsors missionaries. Every month, the classes sponsor their own missionaries. Even if a person is not a member of a Small Group or a Sunday School class, they can still contribute to missionaries through our SENT Missionary Fund or our General Missions Giving fund.

  • SENT missionaries are those that are sent forth by Mile Straight Baptist Church. They are members of our church who have been called by God to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Mile Straight has been blessed by God by giving us ten SENT missionary families.

    • Overview: This will be a Missions 101 trip. This missions trip is for people who have never been on a missions trip before. We will learn how missions works at Mile Straight, as well as how missions works in Panama (and other countries).
